Newport, RI hosted fifteen Melges 32′s both north of the Jamestown Bridge and out in the ocean over a three day span. Along with the sailing, it was the annual music festival at Ft. Adams which provided for an perfect equation of good times. I sailed with Steve Howe on Warpath(USA 32917), Mo in the green hat confidently bringing us up to the line. It was an experience I will not forget, from mudslides in Block Island during practice to be only two points out going into final race, finishing second overall.
